In many ways, IELTS Reading is more of a vocabulary test than a reading test. The reason is that you need a wide range of vocabulary to understand the passages of text given to you. You must also be aware of synonyms and paraphrasing if you wish to identify the information required to answer the questions correctly.

IELTS Reading is a very important part of the ielts test. Here you can find a general practice test for IELTS reading IELTS 2021-22 pdf. The general reading consists of 3 sections and 40 questions that need to be solved in 60 minutes. Each part contains 250-300 words. And these paragraphs are taken from magazines, biographies, magazines and newspapers, and sometimes from scientific books. Most of the topics are of general interest and information.

Matching information - This type of question asks you to match statements to paragraphs in your reading text. Statements can be reasons, descriptions, summaries, definitions, facts, or explanations. You need to find specific information in a paragraph and match it to one of the statements. The answer is usually contained in a whole phrase or sentence, rather than a single word. The following is a sample question for matching IELTS Academic Reading Test information.

Identity Information ( YES / NO / NOT GIVEN) (TRUE / FALSE / NOT GIVEN) - In this type of question, you will be given statements related to the reading passage, and your task will be to answer whether the statement is true, false, or not given. This type of question is one of the most difficult question types in an IELTS reading test because you need strong logic to answer correctly. It is essential that the examinees understand the difference between FALSE and NOT GIVEN.

Summary, Flowchart Completion - In this type of question, you are given a summary of the IELTS lesson and you need to fill it out using the information in the text. Summary IELTS reading will be from only part of the passage, so it will not summarize the entire reading passage. There are two options for this type of question. You may be asked to select words from the text or select from a list of answers.

Revealing the views/statements of the writer - In this type of question, you will be given a series of statements and asked the question: Do the following statements align with the views / statements of the author? You must write YES, NO, or NOT GIVEN in the squares on their answer sheet.NO means that the views or statements of the author are clearly not consistent with the statement.NOT GIVEN means that the point of view or claim is not confirmed or refuted.

Print the TOEFL Junior Answer Sheet to respond to the numbered sample questions below. If you do not have access to a printer, you can use a sheet of blank paper to write down your answers. A link to the answer key is included at the end of the sample questions. 2ff7e9595c
